In an unusual twist, a woman recently managed to board a flight at KLIA without any identification, including a flight ticket, leading to a significant flight delay.

Over the weekend, Chinese travel blogger Zhu recounted an incident that occurred on August 29th at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). According to Zhu, her Xiamen Airlines flight to China was delayed by four hours due to a passenger boarding the plane without a ticket.
Zhu recalled that after settling into her seat, she noticed a woman wandering around the aircraft, disrupting other passengers who were trying to reach their seats and stow their belongings. Assuming the woman was simply having difficulty finding her seat, a flight attendant asked to see her boarding pass to provide assistance.
To their astonishment, the woman admitted she didn&rsquo;t have a ticket for the flight and, therefore, had no assigned seat. &ldquo;A few moments later, there was an announcement asking all passengers to disembark and return to the terminal for security checks,&rdquo; Zhu wrote. &ldquo;Everyone was understandably upset and wondered what was happening.&rdquo; Zhu added that airline staff had to re-check each passenger's boarding pass in alphabetical order before allowing them to board again.

The blogger mentioned that they had seen passengers from that flight disembark before they boarded, leading to the perplexing question of why the woman would remain on the plane and then attempt to fly back to Xiamen.
Following the incident, the flight eventually departed but faced a four-hour delay, arriving at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport at 9:30 p.m. instead of the scheduled 6:55 p.m. Sin Chew Daily reported that Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) is investigating the matter, and there have been no further updates yet.

Unfortunately, that wasn&rsquo;t the case for one Malaysian Tesla owner. While their car was properly parked in a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, an unknown individual kicked and spat on it, leaving the owner shocked by the senseless act.

The controversy gained attention when X user Ikhwan (@JatIkhwan) highlighted the issue in a tweet, mentioning that the TikToker had amassed over 600,000 followers before his account was suspended. This prompted the Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, to file a police report against the driver.

&lsquo;Abang Bas&rsquo; Slapped With Sexual Abuse Charges By Court
Following swift action by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), the TikTok user known as &lsquo;Abang Bas&rsquo; was arrested on Friday, September 6th. Today, he faced charges in court for sexually abusing children and reportedly broke down in tears upon hearing the charges.

At the Muar Sessions Court, the suspect faced two charges related to the sexual abuse of children dating back to April 2024. The first charge alleges that he kissed his 4-year-old cousin on the cheek while on a school bus in Simpang Renggam, during the period between April and September, around 5 to 6 PM.
This charge falls under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and whipping.
The second charge accuses the individual, known as 'Abang Bas', of repeatedly observing a 9-year-old girl for sexual purposes on the same bus and location, during the same time frame in early September.

He was charged with a Serious Sexual Non-Physical Offence under Section 15(a)(iii) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a fine of up to RM20,000, or both.
The suspect pleaded not guilty to both charges and was visibly emotional, wiping away tears as the charges were presented before Judge Sayani Mohd.

In court, the prosecution sought RM50,000 bail for each charge, citing the significant public interest surrounding the case. They also requested that the suspect be required to report to the police station monthly and prohibited from contacting the victims or witnesses.
The defense, however, appealed for a lower bail, highlighting the suspect's limited income as a bus driver. The court set bail at RM30,000 for both charges, with the condition that the suspect comply with the additional terms proposed by the prosecution.
The case has been adjourned to October 10 for a mention and submission of documents.

Additionally, reports of a group of his supporters allegedly starting a crowdfunding campaign in his favour have sparked further concern, with many disturbed that people are backing him and his actions.

What&rsquo;s New For The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max?

At first glance, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max may look familiar, featuring the same flat-edge design, titanium frame, matte glass back, and signature triple-camera setup on a raised bump. However, Apple has subtly enhanced the Pro models with slightly larger displays&mdash;6.3 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The 6.3-inch model offers a resolution of 2622&times;1206 pixels, while the larger Pro Max boasts 2868&times;1320 pixels. Both still utilize Super Retina XDR OLED screens with a pixel density of 460 ppi, a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits (1,000 nits typical). They also maintain the 120Hz ProMotion display technology and the Dynamic Island at the top, which houses the front camera and sensors.

Apple claims that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max feature the thinnest bezels yet, though the overall dimensions have slightly increased due to the larger screens. Both models are a few millimetres taller and wider but maintain the same thickness of 8.25mm. The iPhone 16 Pro has gained 12g in weight, while the Pro Max is 6g heavier compared to their predecessors.

Equipped with Apple's cutting-edge A18 Pro chip, both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max feature a 6-core CPU (2 Performance Cores and 4 Efficiency Cores), a 6-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine for superior performance. During the event, Apple highlighted the advanced AI capabilities that leverage the power of Apple Silicon. This makes the iPhone 16 Pro series the second generation of iPhone Pro models to incorporate these AI features, following their introduction in the A17 Pro-powered iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In terms of camera improvements, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max feature several significant upgrades. The main camera remains a 48MP f/1.78 lens, but the ultra-wide camera has been enhanced from a 12MP f/2.2 to a 48MP f/2.2 sensor. Additionally, the telephoto camera has been upgraded to a 12MP f/2.8 lens with 5x optical zoom, now standard across both models, including the smaller iPhone 16 Pro (compared to the 3x optical zoom on the iPhone 15 Pro).
Apple has improved the 48MP Fusion camera, making it faster with a quad-pixel sensor that processes data twice as quickly and eliminates shutter lag when capturing 48MP ProRAW or HEIF photos. Both models now support 48MP macro photography and feature an anti-reflective lens coating. The front-facing camera remains a 12MP f/1.9 lens, capable of recording 4K video at up to 60fps.

A new addition is the Camera Control button, which functions as both a shutter and a secondary action button. This allows users to lock focus, take shots, and adjust modes and settings with a simple slide. The Camera Control button also integrates with third-party apps for functionalities like white balance adjustments and focus settings, such as with the Kino app, and supports visual intelligence for AI-assisted search.
Another notable upgrade is the ability to record slow-motion video in 4K at 120fps. Apple demonstrated that users can shoot video and then adjust the playback speed post-capture. ProRes video recording in 4K at 120fps is also supported via external recording through the USB-C 3 port.

The new flagship models also bring enhanced audio capabilities, featuring Spatial Audio and stereo recording through a high-quality four-microphone array with wind noise reduction.
For connectivity, the iPhone 16 Pro series supports 5G (sub-6GHz in Malaysia), Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 7 with 2&times;2 MIMO. Additionally, they are compatible with Apple's latest MagSafe charger, which offers faster wireless charging up to 25W, though a 30W power adapter is required for this speed.
Battery life has also seen improvements. The iPhone 16 Pro boasts up to 23 hours of video playback, the same as its predecessor, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max extends battery life to 33 hours, up from 29 hours on the previous model. Both models can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes for the Pro and 35 minutes for the Pro Max when using a 20W adapter.
