TRUTH About the North-South Expressway (Bangi) Murder.

Violence is NEVER the solution to anything, and unfortunately...not many people understand that.

An itsy-bitsy fender bender incident on the North-South Expressway turned ugly when it resulted to the death of a 29-year-old guy, who was crushed between a minivan and a road divider.

Here's a Recap of what happened that fatal day:

  1. The 29-year-old guy had (probably) accidentally knocked the back of a minivan that was driven by a mid-aged couple, just after the Sungai Besi toll plaza.
  2. It led to a car chase that ended somewhere at the Bandar Baru Bangi interchange.
  3. The 29-year-old guy got out of his car, brandishing a baseball bat in hand, and smashed the couple's car bonnet.
  4. Probably fearing for their lives, the 40-year-old man drove his minivan forward (probably hoping to avoid getting hurt by the other guy) and had ran the youngster over -- clipping him against the road divider (as shown in the pic).
  5. The victim was rushed to Nilai Medical Centre but died while receiving treatment.
  6. Both, man and wife, were arrested and remanded for 7 days.

Here's the video recorded by people at the scene:

It is pretty apparent that the 40-year-old man had not intentionally meant to hurt the victim, else he would have driven away out of panic.

So lets calm down and not start pointing fingers at who started it...like the pakcik in the blue top.

Relax...he wasn't being rude. He was just demonstrating what the victim did after knocking his minivan.

Now I know how this looks...

Despite involving a Malay man and a Chinese couple, this accident had nothing to do with racial issues -- just two gentlemen handling a small issue in a very un-gentleman-like manner.

Instead of recycling the same old Ghost of May 13th, I think we, the younger Generation can do better.

We CAN THINK for ourselves. It's an issue of Emotional Control. Being educated.

As for now, this case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, but there's no proof that this was even murder.

I would call this "being at the wrong place, at the wrong time."

Let's just let the police do their job while we sit and wait for the final say, instead of taking matters into our own hands.

Question is, is this still considered as "Murder" or just a really tragic Accident?

We're still understanding of the anger and emotions going around right now...but please be better than allowing these negative emotions make us do something we'll forever regret.
