When the Covid-19 pandemic hits, many businesses are largely affected by the lockdown constraints. However, this restaurant took a different turn during RMCO.
Located in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Calia is a premium casual dining Australian restaurant that opened its' doors on June 19, which was the time RMCO started.
The store is pretty small and you might think that it's an organic store from the outside. The place is actually a food haven! Below is the list of their signature food:
- BakeS scallops
- Saikyo New Zealand Lamb Rack
- Calia Wagyu Bowl
- Nasi Lemak DonBuri
Once they opened their doors, the restaurant has received many reservations and was fully booked at least 2 weeks in advanced.
Their most successful sale was receiving 492 reservations within 1 hour after launching their online booking system on July 2.
The co-founders (Lawrence Yeow, Ricky Thien and Jason Chang) are lucky to have partnered with Michael Fong from CPI Food Concept to bring this Malaysia's branch to life. CPI Food Concept is famous for managing brands such as Rocku Yakiniki and Fei Fan Hot Pot.
