A tragic incident happened yesterday, (21 April 2021). A man was found to have committed suicide at Suria KLCC shopping centre.

The incident was believed to happen during the afternoon. Police are now currently investigating the case and were present yesterday at the scene according to Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Mohd Zainal Abdullah.

Netizens were alerted of this tragic news when pictures of a body lying on the ground of the mall went viral on Twitter. It is believed that the man fell from the third floor. However, after Mohd Zainal watched the recording of the closed-circuit television (CCTV), the man actually jumped from the fourth floor.
The victim was identified to be 25 years old and was found with a psychiatric treatment card from the Klang Hospital in his bag.

His body has been brought to he Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for post-mortem. The case has been classified as sudden death.
