The big man of the Malaysian Police force has finally called it quits and wants to retire after serving for a long 35 years.
Bukit Aman Commercial Crimes Investigation Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Amar Singh is famously known for spearheading the 1MDB investigations - yes, the one that confiscated over RM 1.1 Billion in Cash & Luxury Goods from Najib and Rosmah.
The chief has now handed down his responsibilities to Deputy Comm Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin, who will take on the CCID Director role on an acting capacity.
Comm Amar, 60, leaves with saying:
“If you are doing something you love, you never work a day in your life. Since young, all I’ve ever known and all I’ve ever wanted was to become a policeman. If I have a chance to live my life all over again, I would still choose to be a police officer. I am blessed for the life that I have lived, I would not change it for anything."
We here at MYC! just wanna take this opportunity to thank Comm Datuk Seri Amar Singh for his years of service to the country and for setting such a high standard in the Malaysian Police force.
Thank you Sir!
