AMSA Health Day is a one-day or more annual program under the Public Health and Global Health Department of AMSA Malaysia, in which medical students organize health program with regard to specific themes set each year. This event will be placed at Komune Living &amp; Wellness.&nbsp;
The theme of AMSA Health Day 2024 is 'Bones Beyond Breakage' as decided by the National Directors of as the key in improving and advancing the health, well-being, and quality of life of our Malaysian community.
The main goals of the AMSA UKM Heath Day 2024 are:&nbsp;
To focus on overcoming the global disparities in bone diseases care which mainly affected by social factors such as education and lifestyle. &bull; To educate and raising awareness by addressing some preventable major bone diseases risk factors. &bull; Increase the awareness of the importance of early detection of bone diseases through health screening. &bull; Promote early identification, diagnosis and treatment to minimize the severity of bone diseases. &bull; To encourage general public in sharing the knowledge of bone diseases prevention and risk factors. &bull; To involve a greater coverage of community in knowing more about bone diseases prevention by conducting the event outside of UKM.
