We are on day 3 of waiting on who will become the next Prime Minister of Malaysia as the GE15 and so far, I think most Malaysians are more entertained at the progression of how their finger is slowly transforming from Thanos and back to a normal finger.

With the news going around of parties wanting to join together to form a government, it&rsquo;s pretty difficult to say what&rsquo;s going to happen. First, we had Sarawak&rsquo;s Gabungan Party Sarawak (GPS) stating an alliance will be made with Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Barisan Nasional (BN).
Then we had rumours going around of Pakatan Harapan (PH) wanting to combine with Barisan Nasional and talks were in the process as the leaders had all met together for a meeting yesterday to discuss their decisions.

BN Will Not Collaborate With Anyone

Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob had announced that BN will not be collaborating with any coalition to form a government. He revealed the update at 2pm today (22 Nov) and stated that the top leadership had agreed on not supporting any coalition.
&ldquo;BN will not be supporting Pakatan Harapan (PH) or Perikatan Nasional (PN). For now, BN agrees to remain as the opposition,&rdquo; said Ismail Sabri.

With this development, that means that both PH and PN neither have enough to form a new government.
For those who don&rsquo;t know, one will need at least 112 seats in the Dewan Rakyat to move forward but as it stands, PN has 73 seats and PH has 82 seats. Now that leaves them to get support from other parties to form a unity government.
Agong To Make A Decision Soon

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri&rsquo;ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah stated that he will be deciding the formation of the government soon.
The Agong himself approached the press at 2:20pm earlier today and urged for everyone to be calm and patient.
&ldquo;Please be rational, we have to move on. We have to move forward for our beloved nation. Let me make the decision as soon as possible,&rdquo; said his majesty.
As of now, in a live report by The Vibes, it states that the following individuals are at the palace:

As Anwar Ibrahim was making his way to the palace, he was spotted by netizens on the highway and had gestured that everyone will get what they want soon.

"The claim about 17 million identity cards being leaked and sold on the dark web is unverified. The National Registration Department (JPN) and the information technology security division are actively investigating this matter," Saifuddin said. He urged the public to be cautious about sharing unverified information that could lead to unnecessary panic.
The minister also noted that viral allegations on social media, including claims by users on X (formerly Twitter), suggested that samples of Malaysian MyKad data were shared on the dark web. These claims are being thoroughly investigated.
JPN Reassures the Public: No Breach Found
The National Registration Department (JPN) has reiterated that its system remains secure and that no breaches or suspicious activities have been detected. In an official statement, JPN clarified:

Meanwhile, X user DragonForce Malaysia (@dragonforceIO_) has cast doubt on the legitimacy of the alleged MyKad data leak, suggesting that the leaked information may be fake.
After deciphering the pixelated images circulating online, it became evident that the names and photos on the MyKad were highly questionable. For instance, some names included "Devil bin Satan," "Mohd Daniyal Hanger," and "Dato Husin"&mdash;all paired with mismatched photos, raising clear red flags about the authenticity of the data.
Even a MyKad allegedly belonging to Chua Lai Fatt made an appearance. For those unfamiliar, Chua Lai Fatt gained notoriety during Malaysia&rsquo;s 13th general election. He is an Indian Malaysian who was adopted by a Chinese Malaysian family, adding an element of humour and disbelief to the claim.
Further scrutiny revealed other inconsistencies, including strange, distorted fonts on the cards, which only added to suspicions of fraud. However, there&rsquo;s no absolute certainty that the "unveiling" of these inconsistencies is genuine either. For now, the authenticity of the leaked data remains under question.

In related news, Saifuddin Nasution mentioned that the Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC) Act, enforced since July 2022, is under review for possible expansion to other enforcement agencies. During the podcast, Victor recalled hearing from the grapevine that someone had said she shouldn&rsquo;t have won Malaysian Idol simply because she wasn&rsquo;t Malay. &ldquo;Let me just say something: somebody said I shouldn&rsquo;t have won because I&rsquo;m not Malay,&rdquo; she shared. The comment, while not directed at her, eventually made its way back to her.
The remark shocked her, especially considering the source. &ldquo;This person is very cool, very hip and happening. Suddenly, from their mouth, something like that can come out. I&rsquo;m thinking, &lsquo;I&rsquo;m Malaysian, I&rsquo;m born here, I&rsquo;m raised here, I speak Bahasa,&rsquo;&rdquo; she said. However, Victor didn&rsquo;t let it hold her back. &ldquo;It does not define who I am; it does not define what I do,&rdquo; she added.
Victor even injected humour into the situation, jokingly asking, &ldquo;Where else was I supposed to sing? Indian Idol?&ldquo; eliciting laughter from the podcast host. Reflecting on the years that have passed since, Victor said the remark no longer matters and emphasized the importance of focusing on one&rsquo;s goals. &ldquo;There&rsquo;ll always be all kinds of things said about you.
