In the video, the woman's hand was directed towards Hazrul, and she repeated the gesture multiple times before briefly making eye contact with him. This prompted him to interpret the sign as a silent plea for assistance.
Subsequently, Hazrul noticed that the woman appeared to have facial bruises, which raised suspicions that she might be a victim of domestic abuse.
Recognizing the 'Signal For Help' being used repeatedly, Hazrul took action by contacting the authorities. He also approached the festival organizers and vendors to help facilitate the separation of the woman from her boyfriend, who was wearing a striped t-shirt.

Swiftly responding to the situation, a group of individuals who were nearby extended their assistance by preventing the woman's boyfriend from departing. It was observed that the man's behaviour escalated further. After some time, the police arrived at the food fair and subsequently apprehended him.
Revealed To Be Abused By Her Boyfriend
Following the incident, the woman provided some insight into the circumstances and disclosed that her boyfriend is reportedly struggling with substance addiction. She shared her harrowing experiences, claiming that she had been physically restrained and subjected to acts such as scalding with hot water.

This individual posted a series of tweets unveiling someone's disrespectful behaviour towards Christianity. The hope expressed was that the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) would initiate suitable actions against the individual in question, including their arrest.

According to the Twitter thread, a young individual named Razeeq has come under scrutiny for posting offensive content on both his Instagram and TikTok accounts. As per the original poster (OP), this issue began a couple of months ago when Razeeq shared pictures on his TikTok account featuring himself and a friend posing beside graves in a Christian cemetery late at night. This act prompted criticism, with many condemning it as an offensive "photoshoot" that displayed a lack of respect for the deceased.
Despite facing substantial backlash in the comments section of his TikTok posts, Razeeq remained unapologetic and refused to acknowledge his wrongdoing. The controversy centres around his affinity for metal music, and he sought to emulate photos by artists who often incorporate Christian imagery in their album covers, music videos, and promotional photoshoots. An individual claiming to know Razeeq personally came forward to offer an apology on his behalf. However, despite their attempts to advise him, these efforts proved unsuccessful.

M’sian TikToker Exposed After Having Publicly Disrespecting Christianity On Social Media

Education plays a pivotal role for students from various backgrounds because with education, their future can be brightened and more human capital can be produced for the country&rsquo;s growth and stability be it for economic, political, or social reasons. 
Nothing brings more joy when students are eligible for free tertiary education to further their studies and pursue their dreams. This is true in the case of Sarawakian students. Recently, Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg officially announced that students from Sarawak who are eligible to enter into the institutes will be able to pursue their free tertiary education at state-owned universities from the year 2026 onwards. 
The five state-owned universities include Curtin University, Swinburne University, University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), i-CATS University College, and lastly, the Kolej Laila Taib (KLT).

Understanding the economic strength of the state and being the Sarawak finance and new economy minister, Abang Johari ascertained that the Sarawak government is strong enough to provide educational support in the coming three years as a means to produce more qualified Sarawakians and enable them to have access to new technology for the state&rsquo;s development. 
He had consulted the Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Minister Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn as well as his Deputy Datuk Dr. Annuar Rapaee. Together, they researched the feasibility of providing free tertiary education to their own Sarawakian students in the state-owned universities mentioned.

He further went on with his statement by saying &ldquo;Based on the figure of this study, I believe that under the 13th Malaysia Plan, we will be able to give free tertiary education to Sarawakians by 2025 or 2026.&rdquo;

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 20th edition of the Tidal Bore Festival in Simanggang on the 1st of October, Sunday, he revealed confidently that he foresees the future economic condition will be much stronger, and by that time, it will be a suitable year to conduct it. 
Why did he confidently say so?
According to him, the yearly projection of Sarawak&rsquo;s income has rocketed since 2020. Moreover, Sarawak had a recorded revenue of RM12 billion last year and he believes this year will be more fruitful than the previous. 
He also stated that there was a fund known as the &lsquo;Sarawak Sovereign Wealth Future Fund.&rsquo; To date, the fund is sufficient to offer free tertiary education, and the remaining balance will go to young Sarawakians besides boosting the state&rsquo;s economy as well as enhancing the infrastructure development throughout the state.&nbsp;

Previously, it was reported that Sarawak planned a sovereign wealth fund with RM8 million as the starting amount to build up the state&rsquo;s financial sustainability. As such, it intends to begin the fund by the year 2024. 
Sarawak is said to have a promising future and he encouraged the people to have the &lsquo;muhibah&rsquo; spirit with the aim of keeping unity alive besides working together as a means to elevate the state to greater heights. 
He associated his impactful saying with the regatta boat race at Pesta Benak which emphasized that the paddlers row together in one direction when all of them have a common goal of winning the race.

For many Malaysians, apart from our mobile phones, one of the most crucial items we always carry is our wallet. It often holds our identity card (IC), driving license, essential cards like debit/credit cards, and, most importantly, our cash.
Recently, a couple embarked on a trip to Genting Highlands, a popular destination known for its refreshing highland climate and respite from the city's heat. However, not all trips unfold seamlessly. During their journey back from their hillside outing, the couple suddenly realized that their wallet was missing.
The original poster (OP) recounted that as they headed back to Raub, the realization of their missing wallet sank in, and they were close to giving up hope of retrieving it. However, thanks to his wife's quick thinking, she suggested contacting the Marrybrown restaurant where they had dined to inquire about their lost wallet.
Spoke To The Employee And Had A Sigh Of Relief

After successfully locating the outlet's contact number online, the gentleman initiated a conversation with an employee named Kogi (although the spelling was uncertain). To their immense relief, Kogi confirmed that the restaurant had indeed discovered a wallet beneath one of the tables, perfectly matching the description provided by the wife.
Upon further inspection, it became evident that the wallet did not contain any form of identification. Instead, it held a sum of cash. The wife clarified that the money in the wallet was reserved exclusively for covering their family's monthly grocery expenses. They expressed profound gratitude to the Marrybrown staff at Genting Sky Avenue for their responsible handling and safekeeping of the wallet.
Staff Goes The Extra Mile For The Couple
Originally, the plan was to mail the wallet back to its owners, but there was a concern about the inherent risk of it being potentially lost in transit, given the tendency of items to go astray during such processes. Recognizing this potential issue, Kogi proposed an alternative solution: transferring the money via bank transaction. Shortly thereafter, she provided reassurance by sending a photograph of the bank transfer receipt.

&ldquo;Such efficiency! The effort to queue up at the bank and return the modest sum of money, was heartening,&rdquo; said the OP.
Praises The Staff And Wants To Send A Token Of Appreciation 
Exhaling a collective sigh of relief and recovering their funds, the family took a moment to express their gratitude and admiration for Kogi's honesty. They sent an email to the restaurant, praising her integrity and ethical conduct. In response, the restaurant promptly acknowledged their commendation and extended their appreciation in a reply.

The family suggested presenting a gesture of gratitude to Kogi, but she graciously declined the offer, explaining that it aligns with the company policy to safeguard any items inadvertently left behind by customers. As indicated in his social media post, the sentiment was not about the monetary worth but rather the demonstration of honesty, sincerity, and respect towards customers.

There is a saying that says &ldquo;A dog is man&rsquo;s best friend&rdquo; and cats too can be one&rsquo;s best friend when he or she is a cat lover. However, some are dispassionate towards animals and worst still, mistreating them like no other. Thus, they are left in a doomed situation while going through their lives. 
Not long ago, an X user (formerly known as Twitter), <a href="https://twitter.com/izzat_bashir">@izzat_bashir</a> shared a distressing scene of a cat that was found to be feeble at a public university in Gombak, Selangor, and its body was full of white paint in which he posted a few photos and a video to describe the cat&rsquo;s ill condition.

At the time of writing, many requested Izzat to update the cat&rsquo;s condition and this shows their sympathetic and concerned hearts towards it.

Can you imagine the smell of toxicity that it breathes when it is entirely covered with white paint? It is just way too hard for us to bear, and so does the cat. 
According to Izzat, he mentioned that no one should be cruel to animals. If you dislike it, just leave it as it is rather than being cold-blooded and harming it. After all, they are purely innocent and are merely trying to survive their lives. 
He further updated his social media that the &lsquo;meow&rsquo; is now in clean condition after a bath. However, it still appears to be weak.

Outraged by the unfortunate incident, he expressed that he had informed about the unpleasant situation to the relevant authorities for the necessary action. 
According to the <a href="https://www.animal.org.my/animal-welfare-act-2015/">Animal Welfare Act 2015</a>, under Part V (Cruelty to Animals) of section 29, whoever is deemed guilty of animal cruelty shall be fined not less than RM20,000 and not more than RM 100,000, or imprisonment of not more than 3 years or both. 
This is to say, we should not mistreat animals for they are special creatures that deserve to be adored and appreciated, or else, the consequences will be a heavy punishment to bear and the moral of the story is, that those who commit should be responsible for it.
