This news has shocked many and was confirmed by Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) spokesperson Broto Happy. According to Broto, Zhang&rsquo;s family requested that his body remain at Sardijito Hospital.
"The body of Zhang Zhijie is still at the hospital. I was informed that the family had asked for one more week to collect it. However, we do not know the reason behind their decision," said Broto. He also mentioned that the PBSI will oversee the process of repatriating Zhang&rsquo;s body to China.

Meanwhile, Badminton World Federation (BWF) Medical Commission chairman Datuk Dr. Gurucharan Singh, known as Dr. Guru, suggested that Zhang could have been saved with timely intervention. He criticized the incident, citing multiple errors and a lack of professionalism in the emergency response.

Malaysian police have confirmed that the decomposed body found at a construction site in Bangsar is that of Jordan Michael John Johnson-Doyle, a 25-year-old British software engineer who had been reported missing since 2 June.

The discovery was made during a search operation on 4 June, at a partially completed condominium along Lorong Maarof. The search was initiated after Johnson-Doyle&rsquo;s movements were traced to the area. Over 30 officers took part in combing the site, and at approximately 5pm, a body was found face-down in a partially submerged lift shaft at one of the still-under-construction blocks.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Commissioner Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa confirmed that the body had been positively identified by Johnson-Doyle&rsquo;s uncle, based on a distinctive tattoo. A post-mortem conducted at University Malaya Medical Centre revealed that the cause of death was a chest injury sustained from a fall from height.
&ldquo;There were no signs of foul play or criminal elements at the scene,&rdquo; said Rusdi. &ldquo;The case has been classified as a sudden death.&rdquo;
The body, which was discovered with most of its clothing removed, was recovered at around 9.30pm on the day of the search and taken for forensic examination.
Last Known Movements Before Disappearance

His last known contact was on the night of 27 May, when he was seen attending a quiz night at Healy Mac&rsquo;s Irish Bar in Bangsar. He had sent a photograph from the bar to a friend, but after that, his phone went silent and his social media activity abruptly stopped. Concerned family members, unable to reach him, reported his disappearance to the authorities.
Staff at the bar confirmed his attendance that evening, but were unable to provide further details about his departure or movements afterward.
Public Urged Not to Speculate
