IMU Malaysia Need Scholarship

The IMU-Need Scholarship is designed to support deserving Malaysian students from B40 and M40 households who face financial hardship yet continue to demonstrate good academic performance and strong personal resilience. The scholarship offers a 100% tuition fee waiver for local option First Degree programmes at IMU.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be Malaysian citizens
-
Apply for a First Degree programme (local option only)

Meet the minimum academic merit requirements for the selected programme

Come from a B40 or M40 household income group
-
Demonstrate financial need
-
Applicants with community involvement or co-curricular participation will have an added advantage

Be new applicants only (not applicable to existing students or MPU intake students)

How to Apply
Eligible applicants may apply online via the IMU website. The following documents must be submitted for assessment:

Supporting documents for special circumstances (e.g. death or divorce certificates)

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Successful candidates are required to sign a scholarship agreement.
