The #NoFOMO Social Wellness Challenge is a social media based wellness contest where we want YOU to show us how you live life to the fullest.
What is FOMO you may ask? In short, it means the Fear Of Missing Out. In conjunction of LIAM Life Insurance Association of Malaysia and with the support of 16 Insurance companies in Malaysia, they wanna see how you control your Physical Health, Emotional Health and Financial Health.

A ferry travelling from Ketapang Port in East Java to Gilimanuk Port in Bali sank late on Wednesday night (2 July 2025), just 25 minutes into its journey across the Bali Strait, one of Indonesia&rsquo;s busiest inter-island routes. The ferry, named KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya, was carrying 65 people on board&mdash;53 passengers and 12 crew members&mdash;along with 22 vehicles, including 14 trucks.
The ferry capsized at approximately 11:20pm, and by 12:22am, it was found overturned and drifting. Initial reports point to a combination of engine trouble and rough weather conditions, with waves reaching up to two metres (6.5 feet), contributing to the tragic incident.
Death Toll Rises as Search Efforts Intensify

As of Thursday evening, the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) confirmed that four people have died, 31 have been rescued, and about 30 remain missing. Many of the rescued passengers were found unconscious after drifting for hours in choppy waters overnight. Authorities have deployed nine rescue vessels, two tugboats, two inflatable boats, and a helicopter, alongside a team of underwater divers and local fishermen, to aid in the rescue operation.
According to Nanang Sigit, head of the Surabaya Search and Rescue Office, search efforts are focused along the waters between the accident site and Gilimanuk Port, where several early survivors were found. He added that the improved weather on Thursday has allowed for a more concentrated water-based search.

Survivors Recall Harrowing Night

Among the survivors was 64-year-old Supardi, who described the terrifying moment the ferry began to tilt. &ldquo;At first, I wanted to jump, but the water rushed in too fast. The ferry sank with me still on it. I had to climb out as it submerged, maybe about 7 metres deep,&rdquo; he said from Jembrana Regional Hospital in Bali.
He and three others used life jackets to remain afloat through the night. Others were less fortunate&mdash;some passengers were found unconscious, having clung to wreckage or floated alone until help arrived.
Families of the missing gathered at both Ketapang and Gilimanuk ports, anxiously awaiting updates. Some broke down in tears; others called out the names of loved ones still unaccounted for.
Engine Trouble and Weather Cited

Early indications suggest the ferry may have experienced a leak in the engine room, according to survivor accounts, while officials have pointed to poor weather as a contributing factor. The ferry&rsquo;s radio communications reportedly failed shortly after departure, with contact only re-established via another vessel from the same company, at which point the ferry was already visibly listing.
While the manifest listed 65 people, Indonesian authorities acknowledge that actual numbers often differ, a persistent issue in the country&rsquo;s maritime transport system.
Presidential Orders from Abroad

President Prabowo Subianto, who is currently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, issued an emergency directive calling for a full-scale rescue response. The president was briefed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, who confirmed that all available national resources would be mobilised to locate survivors and investigate the cause of the disaster.
Photographs from the scene published by Antara News Agency showed ambulances on standby, bodies being recovered, and locals waiting by the roadside for word of family members.
A History of Ferry Disasters in Indonesia

This incident is the latest in a string of maritime tragedies. In March 2025, a boat carrying 16 people capsized off the coast of Bali, claiming the life of an Australian woman. In 2022, a ferry with over 800 passengers ran aground off East Nusa Tenggara, though no casualties occurred. The deadliest in recent years was in 2018, when more than 150 people drowned after a ferry sank in Lake Toba, Sumatra.
In 2023, another ferry capsized near Sulawesi, killing at least 15 people, highlighting a persistent national issue.

Despite the mounting toll, rescuers remain hopeful that more survivors can be found. &ldquo;The real challenge is time and current,&rdquo; said one rescue official. &ldquo;But every hour matters, and we won&rsquo;t stop searching until every possible life is accounted for.&rdquo;

The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 16 August 2025, at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, one of the city&rsquo;s premier live performance venues.
Formed in 2024 under the globally recognised AKB48 franchise, KLP48 is not just another idol group&mdash;it is the embodiment of Southeast Asian cultural diversity brought into the global spotlight. Since their debut, the group has carved out a name for itself in both local and international idol scenes, showcasing a strong blend of discipline, charm, and multiculturalism.
From Local Roots to Global Stages

As Netflix gears up to release The Old Guard 2 on 2 July (today), fans across Southeast Asia have been buzzing&mdash;not just about the film&rsquo;s return to its universe of immortal mercenaries, but about the appearance of a new character that&rsquo;s caught the eye of many Malaysians. Played by Malaysian-born actor Henry Golding, the mysterious character named Tuah sparked a wave of excitement and speculation&mdash;especially after promotional posters revealed him wielding a keris, the traditional Malay dagger closely associated with legendary warrior Hang Tuah.

To local audiences, this was no coincidence. In Malay folklore, Hang Tuah is a fabled warrior of the 15th-century Melaka Sultanate, renowned for his fierce loyalty, unmatched combat skills, and iconic weapon, the magical keris Taming Sari. Tuah&rsquo;s name, Southeast Asian heritage, and distinctive blade immediately fuelled theories that The Old Guard 2 was introducing a reimagined version of Hang Tuah into its immortal universe.
Adding to the excitement, Tuah is introduced as a centuries-old character who may hold secrets to the origins of immortality itself&mdash;a character shrouded in myth and mystery, not unlike the revered Hang Tuah himself. Social media lit up with comparisons, fan theories, and even mock-ups of what a modern Hang Tuah would look like. And to be fair, with his facial hair, warrior presence, and keris in hand, Golding certainly looks the part.

Still, he acknowledged the cultural resonance the character&rsquo;s name and weapon held for Malaysian audiences. &ldquo;Of course I understand what Tuah means to Malaysians, and the keris is such a powerful symbol,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;I think it&rsquo;s amazing people are seeing echoes of that legend in this role.&rdquo;

Discord threatens to unravel the fragile balance of the immortals&rsquo; existence and jeopardise the mission they&rsquo;ve carried for centuries&mdash;protecting humanity from the shadows.
In a desperate bid to counter Discord&rsquo;s threat, the team turns to Tuah&mdash;an ancient figure with deep knowledge of their shared past and the very essence of their immortality. But while Tuah&rsquo;s role proves pivotal, The Old Guard 2 struggles under the weight of its own expanding mythology. Critics note that the film&rsquo;s pace slows as it attempts to lay the groundwork for a potential third instalment, at times sacrificing emotional payoff for world-building.
Even the much-hyped duel between Theron and Thurman, though serviceable, lacks the cinematic punch one might expect from two of Hollywood&rsquo;s most iconic action stars. Instead, the film&rsquo;s most emotionally charged scenes emerge from the tense reunion between Andy and Quynh (Veronica Ng&ocirc;), her once-ally who has now aligned with Discord after centuries of isolation and betrayal.

Theron&rsquo;s career has spanned over two decades, with roles that range from Oscar-winning performances in Monster to her more recent action-driven roles in Mad Max: Fury Road and Atomic Blonde. In The Old Guard 2, her performance once again anchors the story&mdash;serving as the emotional and narrative spine of the film, even when the pacing falters.
