Looks like Malaysian K-pop fans are in for an exciting lineup of concerts in 2024!
Adding to the buzz, EXO's D.O., also known as Doh Kyung-soo, has just announced his first solo Asia fan concert tour, 'Bloom'. Spanning 11 cities across Asia, this tour promises an unforgettable experience for fans.
For those who may not be aware, D.O. is no stranger to Malaysia, having graced the stage back in 2018 as part of EXO's 'Elyxion' concert.
Who Is Exo D.O.?

Doh Kyung-soo, widely known as D.O., is a member of the boy group EXO. His musical journey began in elementary school, where he showcased his talent in local singing competitions throughout high school. After winning one of these competitions, he auditioned for SM Entertainment and became a trainee. In 2012, he debuted as part of EXO, releasing their first EP, 'Mama', on April 8 of the same year.

He ventured into solo music in 2021 with the EP 'Empathy', featuring the lead single 'Rose'. Notably, D.O. contributed to the lyrics of the title track and 'I'm Fine'. The album achieved significant success, topping the Gaon Album Chart and earning Platinum certification from the Korea Music Content Association. Following this, he released his second EP, 'Expectation', in 2023, with plans for a third solo album slated for release later this year.
In addition to his music career, D.O. has made a name for himself as an actor. His acting debut came in 2014 with the film 'Cart', which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. He garnered acclaim for his performance and received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 52nd Grand Bell Awards.

Expanding into television, D.O. took on his first drama role in 'It's Okay, That's Love' in the same year. His portrayal earned him the prestigious Best New Actor award at the 51st Baeksang Arts Awards. He further showcased his versatility by playing a psychopathic character in 'Hello Monster' the following year. Since then, he has been involved in various notable projects such as 'Pure Love', '100 Days My Prince', 'Bad Prosecutor', and 'The Moon'.
Details Of the &lsquo;Bloom&rsquo; Asia Fan Concert Tour:

Currently, D.O. has revealed the schedule and locations for his inaugural solo Asia fan concert tour. The tour will kick off with a thrilling two-day concert in Seoul in June, followed by additional performances across various cities in Asia from June 8th to September 28th.

As of now, the organizers have not yet provided additional information regarding the concert venue and ticketing. Stay tuned for further updates! Meanwhile, make sure to mark your calendars for the Malaysia concert on August 17, 2024 (Saturday).
