<li>If a scammer contacts you, simply give them SOHAI&rsquo;s phone number.</li>
<li>The chatbot will take over the conversation, sending frustrating and time-consuming responses.</li>

&ldquo;I hate scammers because they prey on vulnerable people&mdash;especially the elderly and those who may not be as tech-savvy. &ldquo;If I could turn back time, I would take the SPM without hesitation,&rdquo; she added.
The Worrying Trend of SPM Absenteeism

While ZUS Coffee had been absorbing these increased expenses over the past year, it stated that a 30-sen price increase was now necessary to prevent financial losses.&nbsp;
The price adjustment took effect earlier this week, impacting most drinks on the ZUS Coffee menu. However, the brand assured customers that prices for its &ldquo;necessities&rdquo; &ndash; Espresso, Americano, CEO Latte, Coconut Latte, and CEO Coconut Latte &ndash; would remain unchanged. The company also apologised for any inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude for its customers&rsquo; support over the past five years.

Regardless of public opinion, credit must be given to ZUS Coffee for openly addressing the price increase&mdash;something many large corporations often fail to do. Their transparency is commendable, and hopefully, both their service and coffee quality will continue to improve over time.&nbsp;

&ldquo;The enforcement unit has taken action to track the parties involved and will summon the restaurant for discussions to determine the reason behind the increase or change in service fees,&rdquo; the ministry said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011. This law sets strict penalties for businesses found guilty of unreasonable price hikes or profiteering:

<li>Companies: Fines of up to RM500,000 for a first offence and up to RM1 million for repeat offences.</li>
<li>Individuals: Fines of up to RM100,000, a maximum jail term of three years, or both for a first offence. Repeat offenders face fines of up to RM250,000, a maximum jail term of five years, or both.</li>
</ul>
While the ministry has encouraged the public to report similar cases, it noted that no official complaints against Oriental Kopi have been lodged yet.
